The Communist Party of Britain has some of the deepest roots in the working class of any political party; in many unions and workplaces Communists are elected to represent the interests of their members, and give leadership and focus to the labour movement.

Key updates on demonstrations, rallies, marches, campaigns or industrial action which involved Communist Party members or affect the wotrking class within the region will appear here.

Within the region we have members who are committed to the labour movement and work tirelessly within their trade unions, regional working-class institutions and co-operatives.
